Who doesn't love spring?! I think that the season of Spring is probably a universal reminder of Hope for just about everybody who knows Christ as Lord. We walk in the green grass and our hearts feel comfort, we see the crocus' and hyacinth and we experience beauty, the buds on the trees bring us a feeling and focus of

Living on a farm we experience new life in baby calves, baby kittens, baby foals, and baby chicks and this year soon to be baby puppies! At any avenue or thought spring brings New Life! In our selves we experience a New Life parallel... through the death and resurrection of our Savior! We do however need to find our selves in a state of winter before we can have the Newness of Spring! We think of the cross and the Savior's dying for us so that we may have a New life.. and we realize that at this moment we must have a state of dying to self... a brokenness before Him who died for our sins... a giving up of life as we know it in every area of living... and a walking in obedience to His word daily! A sold out way of living that brings glory only and completely to the Son of God! We must fall to our knees daily in a brokenness that is only comparable to Christ on His knees in the Garden but unlike Him we must never ask that the Cup be removed... we must drink from the cup that He has given of New Life and then walk in the victory of His death and resurrection!
